| Abstract: |
The article explores the benefits of using OpenCourseWare (OCW) and its application to distance education wherein OCW is defined by the OpenCourseWare Consortium as a free and open digital publication of university-level education materials. To address the OCW copyright issues, the Creative Commons license was formed which is a commons-based peer-production model allowing one to retain work ownership or waive such rights for others. OCW resources are used to enhance distance education programs. |
