The article presents a profile of several programs developed by Canadian libraries in celebration of Canadian Library Month in October 2011. Several library associations hosted an event to raise funds to rebuild the Slave Lake Public Library in Alberta. A lecture by American author Amy Goodman was sponsored by the Edmonton Public Library in Alberta. Red Crow Community College hosted a book talk from "Arvus in Excelsus" author Gordon Fox. |
