Abstract:	The article presents a study which evaluated the State University New York summer undergraduate research program at Buffalo, New York. The study implemented three stages for evaluation methodology such as the pre-early research mid-research and end-to-post research, and it employed Cronbach's alpha. Result shows that the largest adjustments of the mentors in appraisals of the abilities of their students occurred between the pre- and mid-research assessment.
