Abstract: The article focuses on professional development for a teacher's early years. Focused is a study to identify challenges for novice teachers and the methods and delivery of professional development. Working with students who have psychological disorders, emotionally disturbed students, and overactive children are some of the challenges identified. Results show a mismatch between high stress areas and appropriate professional development.
