Abstract: The article discusses how to establish integrity among teachers and policies at early childhood education centers. The authors cover their response to an incident in which an unsupervised toddler walked away from their childcare center, which led to an increase focus on teachers' dispositions and approaches to integrity. Information is provided on how the authors encouraged reflection among teachers to provide self-evaluation of integrity levels.
