Abstract: The article offers the author's insights on the sequential approach used for teaching young cellist students. The author says that music teacher should address many topics that include technical, musical, and general musicianship issues to avoid forgetting some important material. He mentions that teachers must use lesson time to become organize and efficient in teaching intermediate-level student. He states that scales and arpeggios, exercises, and etudes can help in organizing lesson time.
