The article offers the author's view on advocacy and the perspective she shared on her role as a solo librarian at the Pennsylvania House Committee on Education. She mentions that her testimony provided an opportunity to make law makers more conscious of the challenges encountered by librarians. She notes her association, the Pennsylvania School Librarians Association (PSLA), which has a talented group of advocates who endlessly work towards the creation of a policy that will benefit students. |
