This inquiry built on thc theoretical foundation of thc content motivation theorists, but focused on what thc recent research informs us about meaning of work as a motivational construct. Three themes emerged — sense of self, the work itself and sense of balance — that became subsets for the concluding term of integrated wholeness. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
