The article focuses on the role of the academia on after the genocide in Cambodia, which includes its role on the overall understanding about the genocide and state of genocide education in Cambodia, as well as how it compares to its counterpart in Western institutions. Topics discussed include the importance of education to genocide prevention, the lack of focus on studying the Cambodian genocide and the reason behind scholars' little effort on understanding the genocide. |
