| Abstract (English): | This study analyzes the production and publication of statistical data on education by the National Direction for Information and Educational Quality Assessment, the main national public agent in charge of it. After reviewing the historical origins of the Direction, the article presents the dimension on which it collects information, identifying some existing challenges and gaps. It then studies the whole set of publications of the Direction from the perspective of access to information, and outlines the main findings of the research work. As a conclusion, it identifies the existence of a long way to go, especially in what relates to making available the information to the general public. In this way, the study provides key elements needed for the construction of a diagnosis on the production of information on education in Argentina. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
| Abstract (Spanish): | Este estudio analiza la producción y la publicación de información estadística sobre Educación por parte de la Dirección Nacional de Información y Evaluación de la Calidad Educativa (DiNIECE), organismo estatal nacional productor de información educativa por excelencia. Previo repaso de las raíces históricas del organismo, el trabajo expone las dimensiones sobre las que el organismo releva información, identificando algunos vacíos y desafíos existentes. Luego estudia el corpus de publicaciones de esta Dirección desde la perspectiva del acceso a la información por parte del público en general, destacando los hallazgos salientes de la investigación. Logra así identificar un largo camino por recorrer en la materia, sobre todo en lo que respecta a la puesta a disposición del público de la información relevada. Así, el trabajo provee elementos clave para la construcción de un diagnóstico sobre la producción de información educativa en la Argentina. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

O documento descreve as dimensões sobre as quais a organização reúne informações, identifica as lacunas e alguns desafios existentes. Depois de estudar o corpus de publicações neste sentido a partir da perspectiva do acesso à informação por parte do público em geral, com destaque para as descobertas importantes da investigação.
