Abstract: In this paper, a combined method for measuring the velocity vector of surface currents using a modernized dual-polarization 3-cm range radar is we developed and tested in field experiments. A nonstandard mode of operating the radar and a method for obtaining and processing radar images, which allow improving the accuracy of measuring the parameters of surface currents, are proposed.
