The overview includes the statistics related to the installed thermal capacity, hydro capacity, nuclear power production and total national power consumption. The Instituto de Recursos Hidraulicos y Electrificacion accounts for the electricity generation and supply in the country. The services sector accounts for three-fourths of GDP.
