| Abstract: |
Oxygen vacancy-engineered MoO3−x was hydrothermally synthesized to investigate its U(VI) adsorption performance. The results revealed a positive correlation between oxygen vacancy concentration and adsorption capacity. The adsorption process followed pseudo-second-order kinetics and the Freundlich isotherm, achieving a maximum capacity of 265.10 mg g−1 under optimal conditions. This work demonstrates the potential of vacancy-rich MoO3-x as an efficient adsorbent for radioactive wastewater remediation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
