The article discusses how refurbishing a slitter head is a cost-conscious method for prolonging machine use. According to the author, rebuilding a slitter head can extend its life and provide companies with an updated machine that is able to provide quality cuts at a lower cost than purchasing brand-new replacement equipment. Felip Boixareu of Franklin Stainless says that refurbishment is a good option for slitter heads because the technology has not changed significantly. |
