Abstract: The article discusses court cases dealing with payment order for funds transfer by financial institutions under the Uniform Commercial Code Article 4A. In New York Attorney General v. Citibank NA, the court dismissed Electronic Fund Transfer Act claims. In Elkin Valley Baptist Church v. PNC Bank NA Elkin Valley Baptist Church, the court reviewed misdescription of beneficiary claims. In Harborview Realty Inc. v. Fifth Third Bank NA, the reasonableness of security procedures was analyzed.
