Abstract: A basis for comparing available equipment against the requirements of the prospective user or purchaser of microform retrieval equipment is provided. As used in the handbook, microform retrieval equipment is defined as any device that is used to locate, enlarge, and display microform images or that produces enlarged hard copy from the images. Only equipment available in the United States is included. (AB)
