Abstract: This manual provides information needed to meet specific standards for certification as a pesticide applicator. Chapter one deals with the safety problems of pesticide use to humans, livestock and the environment. The second chapter is concerned with the types of application equipment and their utilization. Specific pests of livestock and poultry are covered in the last chapter. Information on description, life cycle, damage and control of flies, lice, and mites is provided. (CS)
