It contains an explanatory introduction and an extensive list of objectives, for each of the five to eight lessons in each of the eight units, chosen to further the development of the child's reading skills. The manual contains complete lesson plans for each lesson, noting materials needed, teaching procedure, appropriate questions, exercises and answers. Learning activities include questions and answers, drawing, games, dictionary practice, spelling and pronunciation exercises, vocabulary exercises, syllabification, and grammar exercises.
