It is a norm-referenced, standardized instrument developed specifically for use in assessing young children in a variety of settings and by a variety of behavioral informants. The PKBS includes two major scales: social skills and problem behavior. In addition to an overview of the test, this manual contains chapters related to administering, scoring, and interpreting and PKBS; the technical properties, including reliability and validity, of the instrument; linking the assessment process to behavioral interventions; and information on its development and standardization.
