Abstract: The purpose of this project is to help LIFE Group teachers at First Baptist Church of O'Fallon, Illinois (FBCO) to be better postured to develop and teach effective lessons by intentionally seeking to impact the head, heart, and hands of learners through learning principles derived from Scripture, Christian education, pedagogy, and educational psychology. The project involved a thirteen-week training seminar for small group (LIFE Group) teachers at FBCO. The project objectives included developing a teaching template based on eleven principles of learning as well as teaching this template and the principles to the LIFE Group teachers for utilization in their own classrooms.
