Abstract: This Report is submitted in fulfillment of the requirement in "The Career Preparation Expansion Act" (CPEA), Chapter 695 of 2018 (see Education Article § 21-206, Annotated Code of Maryland). The Maryland Longitudinal Data System (MLDS) Center and the Governor's Workforce Development Board (GWDB) are required to produce a report on high school graduates for the five-year period after graduation on: (1) Wages earned; (2) Hours worked per week; and (3) The industry of employment. The population of interest for this report was high school students who graduated from a Maryland public high school with a diploma between January and October of 2018 and are between the ages of 16 and 24 at the time of graduation. [This report was prepared with the Governor's Workforce Development Board (GWDB).]
