Abstract: These are the appendixes for the report, "Examining the Mentoring Experiences of First-Year Teachers in Missouri." In Missouri, teacher retention, particularly among early-career teachers, is a pressing issue. Missouri district leaders and officials with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education had expressed concern that, without effective interventions, teacher retention in Missouri could continue to worsen. This study was designed to provide information on the mentoring occurring statewide, identify which mentoring features are related to the retention of early-career teachers, and explore how these features and their relationships with retention vary across different school and district characteristics. The appendixes in this document include: (1) study background; (2) methods; and (3) detailed analysis results.
