| Abstract: | The study investigated how private elementary school teachers who faced personal difficulties managed to maintain their teaching duties. The research focused on finding out which financial problems and family issues, and health problems teachers faced, and how they affected the teachers' ability to teach effectively. The study used a quantitative descriptive-correlational research design. Ten (10) private elementary school teachers participated in the study by completing a structured survey questionnaire. The researchers applied frequency analysis and percentage analysis, mean analysis, and Pearson r correlation analysis to process the data. The results showed that teachers face moderate to high financial-related issues and health-related issues, while they face family-related problems at a moderate level. The most serious problem emerged from financial issues, which included both low salary and the need to pay expenses. Health-related issues, which included stress and physical exhaustion, represented another major concern. The study results showed that personal issues have a moderate effect on teaching performance because they affect lesson preparation and concentration and classroom management and motivation. The correlation analysis demonstrated that personal problems have a positive correlation with teaching performance, which shows that increased personal problems result in decreased teaching performance. The study shows that teachers who maintain their personal well-being achieve greater success in their professional responsibilities. Financial stress reduction, health and wellness program development, and institutional support provision can enhance teaching performance while maintaining educational standards. |
