| Abstract: | This Academic Program Review Report is designed to provide condensed program information for the Wyoming Community College Commission (WCCC) in order to carry out WCCC's statutory review and oversight function to review existing programs, determine the most effective and efficient delivery of programs qualifying for state funding pursuant to the statewide community college system strategic plan, and terminate state funding for those programs which are inconsistent with the statewide community college system strategic plan. Each community college's Program Review Summary is for program reviews reported to the WCCC that academic year and contains yearly updated information to include the previous academic year. Within the Executive Overview pages, there is specific information regarding each community college's program or cluster of related programs. These can include information from the most recent program review conducted. The community colleges include, at their discretion, information regarding specialized accreditation, advisory committee actions, employment information, program improvements, student engagement, course grades, quality indicators, articulation agreements, retention rates, student outcomes, class size restrictions, faculty qualifications, sufficiency of resources, and/or capacity to improve/advance the program. However, these reviews are designed to be brief and may only address a few of these topics. The academic program reviews or cluster of program reviews included in the 2024-2025 report cover the following subjects: (1) Education; (2) Legal Professions and Studies; (3) English Language and Literature/Letters; (4) Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Firefighting and Related Protective Services; (5) Mechanic and Repair Technologies/Technicians; and (6) History. |
