Abstract: This statutory report presents the activities and accomplishments of the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Inspector General (OIG) from April 1, 2025, through September 30, 2025. The audits, investigations, and related work highlighted in the report are products of OIG's mission to identify and stop fraud, waste, and abuse; and promote accountability, efficiency, and effectiveness through its oversight of the Department's programs and operations. Sections include: (1) Pandemic Relief Aid Oversight; (2) Federal Student Aid Programs and Operations; (3) Elementary and Secondary Education Programs; (4) Department Management and Operations; (5) Non-Federal Audit Oversight Activities; and (6) Additional Efforts.
