| Abstract: | Listening skill, which is known to be in a mutual relationship with reading aloud, reading comprehension, and pronunciation, manifests itself in the form of discriminative listening skill in the case of true beginners who have started to learn a foreign language. The aim of this research is to present learning outcomes aimed at improving the discriminative listening skills of A1-level students learning Turkish abroad. In this research, which was carried out with the screening model, one of the qualitative research methods, first of all, the literature was examined. Afterwards, a pool of learning outcomes that can be used within the scope of discriminative listening skill in teaching Turkish as a foreign language was created. This pool of suggestions was obtained by exchanging ideas through online meetings between the researchers and three experts. The suggestion pool consists of 20 objectives, which were emailed to eight experts for validation. The collected data were analyzed through Lawshe Rule calculations. After these stages, the data were reduced to eight objectives. The results have useful implications for the field of Turkish as a foreign language learning. |
