| Abstract: | GeoGebra represents a significant advancement in educational technology, providing dynamic tools for mathematics education. However, its specific impact on student motivation and achievement in geometry remains understudied. This research investigates the effects of integrating geometrical design through GeoGebra on these outcomes. Conducted over seven weeks using an unequal-group quasi-experimental design, the study involved 64 Form Three students from Johor Bharu district, Johor. Evaluation methods included student motivation questionnaires and a mathematics academic performance test. Analyzing the data with independent t-tests in SPSS version 20 revealed substantial enhancements in both motivation and academic performance following the adoption of GeoGebra, compared to traditional methods. These findings highlight GeoGebra's potential to significantly improve geometry education outcomes by fostering student engagement and academic success. This study underscores the importance of integrating innovative technology like GeoGebra in secondary education to enhance teaching effectiveness and student learning experiences in geometry. |
