| Abstract: | In this article, the author engages with the concept of "doing hope," moving it beyond the issues of coloniality that often plague peace discourse (Acharya, 2022). Peace is not treated here as a state or product that is complete and static once achieved; rather, it is seen as an ongoing and dynamic process entangled with the nuances of lived experiences. The author foregrounded this exploration in a museum session plan that was created to engage with Issam Kourbaj's (2024a) exhibition Urgent Archives. Through the session, the author investigated how the relational field of the museum, when engaged with embodied forms of inquiry, such as deep listening methods and poetic inquiry, led the participants toward entry points into new and different ways of knowing and doing hope that are both plural and ongoing. |
