Abstract: Nursing students in behavioral science were divided as follows: 40 in 4 groups with tutorials and 20 in control groups (13 of whom did not have tutorials). Two of the four experimental groups showed significant changes in learning approach. Recommendations included reducing the number of assignments, integrating theory and practice, and having an explicit tutorial group formation policy. (SK)
