Abstract (English): In the current medicine, the scientific and technological developments have been essential in the advance of the knowledge of the illnesses, what forces us to don't leave a side the care of the patient from the point of view of their family and social environment, it is say has human implications, physiologic and social, what it are translated in an ethical necessity. From the antiquity the big Greek philosophers wrote on the medical ethics like as universal value that governs to the medical practice. Abstract (Spanish): En la medicina actual los desarrollos científicos y tecnológicos han sido indispensables en el avance del conocimiento de las enfermedades, lo que nos obliga a no dejar de lado el cuidado del paciente desde el punto de vista de su entorno familiar y social; es decir, existen implicaciones humanas, psicológicas y sociales, lo que se traduce en una necesidad ética. Desde la antigüedad los grandes filósofos griegos escribieron sobre la ética médica como un valor universal que rige la práctica médica.
