| Abstract (English): |
The politraumatized are people who have suffered lesions in different parts of theirs body experimenting alterations in their protein level in blood, especially in albumin protein, if this situation is not corrected these patients could generated serious consequences for its life and also being for a large period of time in hospital. Under these considerations, this experimental investigation pretends to establish the benefits of an artisanal food preparation rich in albumin in politraumatized patients admitted at the Autonomous Hospital of the Andes, were used inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample was remained by 32 patients (22 men, 10 women) between 20 and 50 years old, in whom were determined seric albumin protein before and after provide an artisanal preparation during 22 days. We used a record sheet designed for the purposed. The data were collected and compared with the statistical program SPSS version 19.0. We used descriptive statistics and Student "t" (p<.05) to compare the artisanal preparation's effectiveness. The results showed that the artisanal preparation contributes to improve the blood's concentrations of albumin by the disappearing of the low concentration categories of this protein in the sample studied, it also contributes to the patient recovery and shortening of hospitalization time. | Abstract (Spanish): |
