Introduction. Patients with hemophilia constitute a reason for dental consultation, with periodontal disease, gingivorrhagia and high incidence of caries being the main causes. Objective. To determine oral conditions in patients with hemophilia rehabilitated after receiving prevention strategies. Material and methods. Epidemiological study of intervention, longitudinal and prospective. Results. A group of 14 stomatologically rehabilitated patients was studied. Hemophilia A was the most prevalent, and hemophilia B the least frequent. It was identified that 43% present due to the diet a risk to severe caries and 37% a slight risk. The initial Biofilm Index (IB) was 100% and decreased to 11.35%. The initial brushing technique was poor in 71.4% of the population and at the end of 42.85% obtained a regular technique and 57.14% a good. 71.4% received topical application of fluoride, while 28.6% no longer received it. Conclusion. When carrying out the preventive intervention actions in the population understudy we could observe the improvement in their oral health, so maintaining prevention strategies in children with hemophilia would reduce rehabilitation interventions.
