Abstract (English): Considering epilepsy as a very important disease in the field of neurology and a public health issue, we must remember that in addition to the biological treatment we offer to this disease, the treatment and knowledge of the social sphere of the patient with epilepsy is essential for the good control and the personal, social, work and academic development of patients with this pathology. In addition to making decisions regarding drugs or treating patients with epilepsy, we must guide them and their families about legal, work and sports issues, car use, and the degree of academic requirements to which they owe or can submit. That is why we gave ourselves the task of answering questions that are commonly a topic of interest in the epilepsy consultation and answering them with scientific evidence, which will give us tools for better care and guidance of patients and their environment.
