Abstract (English):	The present study is carried out to analyze the ethical conduct of the nursing professional in the direct care of hospitalized patients. For this purpose, a systematic review was carried out that was deepened through the analysis of 26 publications between descriptive studies, literary reviews, and original articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria established in the search strategy in which four fundamental aspects were identified: Ethical conduct of the nursing professional, direct patient care, code of ethics and incidence of ethical conduct in the recovery of the patient's health. Among the most outstanding findings of the study, the articles reviewed by 92% were published in 2016 and were oriented to the study of the professional ethics of the nurse, the ethics of care, and nursing. For their part, the conclusions indicate that to the extent that the nursing professional provides a humanized service, understands the patient, shows interest in their emotional states, recognizes their will, participates in care decisions, improves communication with the patient, and dedicate more time to the recognition of their feelings as part of the care process, to that extent you will improve their health recovery process and will be complying with their ethical, moral and professional commitments registered in the Nursing Deontological Code. Abstract (Spanish):	El presente estudio se realizó con el objetivo de analizar la conducta ética del profesional de enfermería en el cuidado directo al paciente hospitalizado. Para tal fin se realizó una revisión sistemática que se profundizó a través del análisis de 26 publicaciones entre estudios descriptivos, revisiones literarias y artículos originales que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión establecidos en la estrategia de búsqueda en que se identificaron cuatro aspectos fundamentales: Conducta ética del profesional de enfermería, cuidado directo del paciente, código deontológico e incidencia de la conducta ética en la recuperación de la salud del paciente. Entre los hallazgos más destacados del estudio los artículos revisados en un 92% fueron publicados en el año 2016 y se orientaron al estudio de la ética profesional del enfermero, la ética del cuidado y la enfermería. Por su parte, las conclusiones indican que en la medida en que el profesional de la enfermería brinde un servicio humanizado, comprenda al paciente, demuestre interés en sus estados emocionales, reconozca su voluntad, lo involucre participativamente en las decisiones del cuidado, mejore su comunicación con el paciente y dedique mayor tiempo al reconocimiento de sus sentimientos como parte del proceso de cuidado, en esa medida mejorará su proceso de recuperación de la salud y estará cumpliendo con sus compromisos éticos, morales y profesionales inscritos en el Código deontológico de enfermería.
