| Abstract (English): | Cocaine paste (basuco) is an illicit drug consumed mainly in Latin American countries, which is combined with other chemical products to achieve a lower cost in the market: this makes it easier to access for many people. The consumption of basuco produces short and long-term effects on the body, the person, family and society.
