Abstract (English):	The appropriate care of patients with acute myocardial infarction in emergency centers often has ethical and moral implications. A literature review was carried out with the aim of analyzing the ethical aspects related to the non-application of thrombolysis in medical emergency departments in primary health care. In emergency care, whatever the level of medical attention to which it corresponds, an adequate relationship between the physician, the patient and the institution receiving him/her, as well as the mastery of science, technique and experience, are the main elements that will prevent the possibility of error and bring the quality of care closer. All professionals, although this article deals with emergency specialists, must put all their scientific knowledge and technical resources in the performance of their profession, conduct themselves with diligence, responsibility and strict observance of the legal and ethical standards of their profession. Abstract (Spanish):	La atención adecuada a los pacientes con infarto agudo de miocardio en los centros de urgencias, en muchas ocasiones, tiene implicaciones ético-morales. Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica con el objetivo de analizar los aspectos éticos relacionados con la no aplicación de trombólisis en los servicios de urgencias médicas en la atención primaria de salud. En esta instancia, cualquiera que sea el nivel de atención médica al que corresponda, una adecuada relación entre el médico, el paciente y la institución que lo recibe, así como el dominio de la ciencia, la técnica y la experiencia, son los principales elementos que alejarán la posibilidad de error y garantizará la calidad en la atención. Todos los profesionales, aunque en este artículo se hace hincapié en los de urgencias, deben poner todos sus conocimientos científicos y recursos técnicos en el desempeño de su profesión, conducirse con diligencia, responsabilidad y en estricto cumplimiento a las normas legales y éticas de su profesión.
