| Abstract (English): |
On the occasion of the commemoration of the centenary of the Ministry of Hygiene, Assistance and Social Welfare, the progress of public health conducted by this institution and its challenges in the current context are reviewed. In particular, the challenges of human resources management are reviewed in the current changing environment, demographic, epidemiological and other dimensions of reality that impact the expectations of the population and demand new strategies from teams to respond to this new context. To answer the question about these changes in people management, a documentary review of national and international sources is carried out, beyond the mere solution of current gaps but also looking for future answers, which are fnally organized in a set of lines of action essential to position ourselves with effective responses to the current reality. Con motivo de la conmemoración del centenario del Minsiterio de Higiene, Asistencia y Previsión social, se revisan los progresos de la salud pública conducda por esta institución y sus desafíos en el contexto actual. En particular se revisan los desafíos de la gestión de recursos humanos en el ambiente cambiante actual, de cambios demográfcos, epidemiológicos y de otras dimensiones de la realidad que impactan en las expectativas de la población y demandan a los equipos nuevas estrategias para responder a este nuevo escenario. Para responder a la interrogante sobre estos cambios en la gestión de las personas, se realiza una revisión documental de fuentes nacionales e internacionales, más allá de la mera solución de las brechas actuales si no que buscando respuestas de futuro, que fnalmente se organizan en un conjunto de líneas de acción indispensables para situarse con respuestas efectivas a la realidad actual.
