| Abstract (English): |
The aortic arch is characterized by the origin of 3 collateral branches, whose usual order of irruption is: the arterial brachiocephalic trunk, the left common carotid artery and the left subclavian artery. The anatomic variations of these supra-aortic trunks are the consequence of embrionary development alterations of the primitive aorta. The present investigation reports and analyzes the case of a bovine aortic arch, observed during the dissection of a corpse's mediastinum. Based on the findings and the bibliography consulted, the analysis of this variation's incidence was performed, as well as the proposal of the aortic arch's variations reclassification [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
