| Abstract (English): | Introduction: This article analyzes the representation of violence in Laura Restrepo's novel Leopardo al Sol, focusing on how the itineraries and repertoires of violent actors are presented in northern Colombia during the last decades of the twentieth century. The objective: to unravel the socioeconomic elements that underlie Restrepo's discourse and that reflect problems such as corruption, the absence of the State, illegal commerce and private violence. Methodology: through a discourse analysis, key phases in the evolution of violence in Colombia are identified, highlighting factors that have shaped the current context. Conclusions: The findings indicate that the work not only portrays violence in a descriptive manner, but also offers an analytical resource that allows understanding its transformation over time, emphasizing its complexity and persistence in Colombian society. | Abstract (Spanish): | Introducción: Este artículo analiza la representación de la violencia en la novela Leopardo al Sol de Laura Restrepo, enfocándose en cómo se presentan los itinerarios y repertorios de actores violentos en el norte de Colombia durante las últimas décadas del siglo XX. El objetivo: es desentrañar los elementos socioeconómicos que subyacen en el discurso de Restrepo y que reflejan problemas como la corrupción, la ausencia del Estado, el comercio ilegal y la violencia privada. Metodología: A través de un análisis del discurso, se identifican fases clave en la evolución de la violencia en Colombia, destacando factores que han moldeado el contexto actual. Conclusiones: Los hallazgos indican que la obra no solo retrata la violencia de manera descriptiva, sino que también ofrece un recurso analítico que permite comprender su transformación a lo largo del tiempo, enfatizando su complejidad y persistencia en la sociedad colombiana. | Abstract (Portuguese): | Introdução: Este artigo analisa a representação da violência no romance Leopardo al Sol, de Laura Restrepo, centrando-se na forma como são apresentados os itinerários e repertórios dos actores violentos no norte da Colômbia durante as últimas décadas do século XX. O objetivo: desvendar os elementos socioeconómicos que estão na base do discurso de Restrepo e que reflectem problemas como a corrupção, a ausência do Estado, o comércio ilegal e a violência privada. Metodologia: Através da análise do discurso, identificam-se as fases-chave da evolução da violência na Colômbia, destacando os factores que moldaram o contexto atual.
