Abstract (English):	Introduction: Among the fastest growing initiatives relating the health sector with the environment are green hospitals, sustainable hospitals, which seek to mitigate the social, environmental, economic and health impacts caused by the permanent operation of these institutions in the world. Objective: Synthesize the evidence of environmental educational interventions in hospitals for health personnel worldwide. Methodology: An integrative review was carried out on the advances related to environmental educational activities in health institutions aimed at health personnel. For the search, 7 databases were used: Pubmed, Virtual Health Library, Scopus, EMBASE, Plos One, EBSCO and Cochrane, from January 2011 to May 2021. The search terms were selected based on the question of research and the PICO strategy. Results: Of 3,246 documents, 11 were retained for the study, finding the main results of the review in 4 categories: 1) educational interventions in waste management of health services in hospitals; 2) interventions in pharmaceutical waste management; 3) interaction activities with the local community and; 4) educational strategies for the clinical and environmental approach. Conclusions: Environmental educational activities for health personnel in hospitals should be connected with an expansion of professional training in sustainability issues, linking environmental variables with the strategies of health institutions in search of an environmental culture. Abstract (Spanish):	Introducción: entre las iniciativas de mayor crecimiento en cuanto a la relación entre el sector salud con lo ambiental están los hospitales verdes, hospitales sustentables, que buscan mitigar los impactos que provoca la operación permanente de estas instituciones en el mundo. Objetivo: sintetizar la evidencia de las intervenciones educativas ambientales en hospitales para el personal de la salud a nivel mundial. Metodología: se realizó una revisión integrativa sobre los avances relacionados con las actividades educativas de orden ambiental en los hospitales, orientadas hacia el personal de la salud. Para la búsqueda se utilizaron siete bases de datos: Pubmed, Biblioteca Virtual de Salud, Scopus, EMBASE, Plos One, EBSCO y Cochrane, y fue realizada desde enero de 2011 hasta mayo de 2021. La estrategia de búsqueda se orientó de acuerdo con la pregunta y la estrategia PICO. Resultados: de 3.246 documentos, 11 fueron retenidos para el estudio; los principales resultados de la revisión se clasificaron en cuatro categorías: 1-intervenciones educativas en gestión de residuos de los servicios de salud en hospitales, 2- intervenciones en gestión de residuos farmacéuticos, 3- actividades de interacción con la comunidad local y, 4- estrategias de educación para el abordaje clínico y ambiental. Conclusiones: las actividades educativas ambientales para el personal sanitario en los hospitales deben estar conectadas con una ampliación de la formación profesional en temas de sustentabilidad, la vinculación de las variables ambientales con las estrategias de las instituciones de salud en la búsqueda de una cultura ambiental.
