The article highlights the historical relationship between the College of Internal Medicine of Mexico (CMIM) and the American College of Physicians (ACP). Both institutions have collaborated in the development and excellence of Internal Medicine in Mexico and the United States, promoting values such as medical ethics and clinical research. The collaboration has materialized in joint congresses, exchange of professors, and participation in events, strengthening continuous medical education and the training of leaders in Internal Medicine.
