Abstract (English):	The article focuses on the multicentric validation of the Kidney Failure Risk Equation (KFRE) in Spanish patients with advanced chronic kidney disease. It highlights that, although the published study aims to validate the KFRE in this population, there is already a prior validation conducted by another group in 2024, which showed promising results in terms of the model's discrimination and calibration. The authors of the commentary suggest that the exclusion of certain patients from the analysis may have introduced biases that affect the validity of the results.
