| Abstract (English): |
A Pregnancy includes several physiological, anatomical, and hormonal changes, so in pathologies such as an acute abdomen, it is difficult to know the affected organ. A clinical case is presented of a 43-year-old patient treated at the Hospital Obrero N2, with a gestation of 33 weeks by second trimester ultrasound, who reports intermittent, oppressive abdominal pain at the level of the right fosaiiliac, for which a initiation by the acute appendicitis surgery service due to clinical signs because the patient does not present the characteristics of the condition in terms of laboratory and clinical signs. An exploratory laparotomy was performed because the patient continued to have acute pain that did not stop with analgesics and a twisted epiploic appendix was found located in the right iliac fossa with a necrotic appearance and a cecal appendix without alterations. makes the physical examination during pregnancy more difficult and confusing. La gestación incluye varios cambio fisiológicos, anatómicos, hormonales por lo que patologías como un abdomen agudo es complicado saber el órgano afectado. se presenta un caso clínico de una paciente de 43 años atendida en el Hospital Obrero N2, con una gestación de 33 semanas por ecografia de segundo trimestre quien refiere un dolor abdominal intermitente, opresivo a nivel de fosailiaca derecha, por lo que se sospecha a un inicio por el serivicio de cirugía de apendicitis aguda por clínica debido a que laboratorialemente y signos clínicos paciente no presenta características del cuadro. Se ingresa a una laparotomia exploradora debido a que paciente continua con dolor agudo que no cesa a analgésicos y se encuentra un apendice epiploico torcido localizado en fosa iliaca derecha de aspecto necrosado y un apéndice cecal sin alteraciones. Hace que la exploración física durante el embarazo sea más difícil y confusa. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
