Abstract (English): The article focuses on the awarding of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Medicine to Mary Brunkow, Fred Ramsdell, and Shimon Sakaguchi for their contributions to the understanding of immune tolerance and its relationship with autoimmune diseases. Sakaguchi was recognized for identifying regulatory T cells, while Brunkow and Ramsdell studied the Foxp3 gene in mouse models, revealing mutations that affect humans with various autoimmune conditions. Additionally, the importance of collaboration and diversity in science is discussed, as well as the use of advanced technology and artificial intelligence in their research. Sakaguchi fue reconocido por identificar las células T reguladoras, mientras que Brunkow y Ramsdell estudiaron el gen Foxp3 en modelos de ratones, revelando mutaciones que afectan a humanos con diversas condiciones autoinmunitarias. Además, se discute la importancia de la colaboración y diversidad en la ciencia, así como el uso de tecnología avanzada e inteligencia artificial en sus investigaciones.
