| Abstract (English): |
Objective: reflect on the texts that have addressed the history of military medicine in Mexico by exploring and selecting documents regarding this topic. Design, methodology or approach: compilation and analysis of writings regarding the history of military medicine in Mexico: articles, dissertations, and books written by military doctors and historians. Results: thanks to the systematic review of the writings, different stages in the formation of the history of military medicine in Mexico were identified as a specific field of study. Study limitations or implications: thorough search for writings related to the history of military medicine. Originality or value: analysis and collection of writings aimed at the history of military medicine. Findings or conclusions: there is considerable amount of research that has been carried out in more tan a century addressing the history of military medicine in Mexico, thus it can be considered a specific field of study within the history of medicine in Mexico. Objetivo: reflexionar sobre los textos que han abordado la historia de la medicina militar en México mediante la exploración y la selección de textos que abordan esta temática. Diseño, metodología o aproximación: recopilación y análisis de los escritos referentes a la historia de la medicina militar en México: artículos, tesis y libros realizados por médicos militares e historiadores. Resultados: gracias a la revisión sistemática de los escritos se lograron identificar diferentes etapas en la formación de la historia de la medicina militar en México como un campo de estudio específico. Limitaciones del estudio o implicaciones: búsqueda exhaustiva de escritos relacionados con la historia de la medicina militar. Originalidad o valor: análisis y recopilación de escritos encaminados a la historia de la medicina militar. Hallazgos o conclusiones: son cuantiosas las investigaciones que se han realizado en más de un siglo sobre la historia de la medicina militar en México, por lo que se puede considerar un campo de estudio específico dentro de la historia de la medicina en México.
