| Abstract (English): |
The article focuses on the National Medical Care Protocols (PRONAM) of Mexico, which are evidence-based guidelines for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. These protocols, developed by the Ministry of Health (SSa) in collaboration with experts from various institutions, aim to provide equitable and standardized medical care throughout the country, regardless of affiliation with a health system. As of December 2025, seven PRONAM have been developed, addressing significant health issues such as diabetes, hypertension, and overweight, and are designed to be primarily applied at the primary level of care. Additionally, complementary documents that facilitate their implementation are highlighted, including quick guides and specific details for pediatric care. [Extracted from the article] |

[Extracted from the article] |
