Abstract (English):	The article addresses the differentiation between the concepts of guilt, strangeness, and perplexity in the context of human relationships and the representation of the other. It argues that guilt arises from the loss of an object or ideal that is felt as part of the self, while strangeness occurs when someone or something considered unclean by culture is repudiated. The text also explores how the difficulty in representing the other, both in their absence and presence, can lead to a sense of perplexity, thus allowing for an openness towards understanding what cannot be represented. It emphasizes the importance of recognizing and contemplating what is considered foreign or strange to facilitate transformations in the psychoanalytic realm. [Extracted from the article]
Abstract (Spanish):	En este texto intento diferenciar descriptivamente la noción de culpa de la de extrañeza. Para eso describo cómo el sentimiento de culpa es el que aparece ante la desaparición de un objeto, de otro, o de un ideal que es sentido como parte del yo. En cambio, el sentimiento de extrañeza es el que se nos aparece ante el repudio que hacemos o que solidariamente con la cultura en la que vivimos ejercemos de algo o alguien al que caracterizamos como inmundo.
