Abstract (English): Introduction: The diversification of food distribution establishments has an impact on labor markets, norms, and peaceful societies where the relationship between labor, capital, and the environment is articulated through social relations where disagreements arise that must be addressed from a culture of peace perspective. Objective: To analyze conflicts and the culture of peace from the eco-social relational perspective of traditional retail trade in Ciudad Guzmán, Jalisco, Mexico. Methodology: Mixed study with 39 semi-structured interviews and a questionnaire in which 805 people participated, using content analysis, descriptive statistics, and path analysis. Results: Description of labor dynamics and social relations, reasons for starting the business, type of product offered, and types of suppliers. in the Path diagram, the environment construct contributes greater weight (0.409) to the configuration of the eco-social issue, conflicts are recovered where the role of the culture of peace in their resolution is highlighted from the voice of the participants; Conclusions: It is relevant to continue developing this type of research to strengthen work autonomy and family traditions that contribute to the culture of peace by managing tensions with suppliers, customers, competitors, and society in general. Abstract (Spanish): Introducción: La diversificación de establecimientos de distribución alimentaria impacta en los mercados de trabajo, las normas y las sociedades pacíficas donde la relación entre trabajo, capital y medio ambiente se articula por medio de las relaciones sociales donde surgen desacuerdos para atender desde la cultura de paz; Objetivo: analizar los conflictos y cultura de paz desde la cuestión eco-social relacional del comercio minorista tradicional de Ciudad Guzmán en Jalisco, México; Metodología: estudio mixto con 39 entrevistas semiestructuradas y un cuestionario donde participaron 805 personas, utilizando el análisis de contenido, estadística descriptiva y análisis Path; Resultados: Descripción de dinámicas laborales y relaciones sociales, motivos por los que se inició el negocio, el tipo de producto ofertado y tipos de proveedores; en el diagrama Path, el constructo de medio ambiente aporta mayor peso (0.409) a la configuración de la cuestión eco social, se recuperan conflictos donde se resalta el papel de la cultura de paz en su resolución desde la voz de los participantes; Conclusiones: resulta pertinente continuar desarrollando este tipo de investigaciones para fortalecer la autonomía laboral y tradiciones familiares que abonan a la cultura de paz al gestionar tensiones con proveedores, clientes, competencia y sociedad en general. Abstract (Portuguese): Introdução: A diversificação dos estabelecimentos de distribuição alimentar tem impacto nos mercados de trabalho, nas normas e nas sociedades pacíficas, onde a relação entre trabalho, capital e meio ambiente se articula por meio de relações sociais nas quais surgem desacordos a serem resolvidos a partir da cultura da paz; Objetivo: analisar os conflitos e a cultura da paz a partir da questão eco-social relacional do comércio varejista tradicional de Ciudad Guzmán, em Jalisco, México; Metodologia: estudo misto com 39 entrevistas semiestruturadas e um questionário no qual participaram 805 pessoas, utilizando análise de conteúdo, estatística descritiva e análise Path; Resultados: Descrição das dinâmicas laborais e relações sociais, motivos pelos quais o negócio foi iniciado, o tipo de produto oferecido e os tipos de fornecedores; no diagrama Path, o constructo de ambiente contribui com maior peso (0,409) para a configuração da questão eco-social, são recuperados conflitos onde se destaca o papel da cultura da paz na sua resolução a partir da voz dos participantes; Conclusões: é pertinente continuar desenvolvendo este tipo de pesquisa para fortalecer a autonomia laboral e as tradições familiares que contribuem para a cultura da paz ao gerenciar tensões com fornecedores, clientes, concorrentes e a sociedade em geral.
