Abstract (English): Veterinary Teaching Hospitals in Mexico have become a focal point for clinical training and research that includes students, interns, residents, specialists, professors and administrative staff. Objective The research objective is related with the following question stated as: What are the factors that influence burnout syndrome in veterinary teaching hospitals in Mexico? While the hypothesis is presented as: the factors that influence burnout syndrome (SL) in veterinary teaching hospitals in Mexico are compassion (C), reduced job satisfaction (S), fatigue and job stress (EF). The research was quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive, transversal, correlational, explanatory and exploratory. Materials and methods The techniques used were documentary, bibliographic and field study. The survey was based on AVMA guidelines. The SPSS statistical program was used to determine the coefficients of the multiple linear regression equation. Results and discussion For every positive unit change in SL there was a negative change in EF with a value of 0.354. The results show an r squared value of 0.1 which corresponds to 10 % of the population have resilience to burnout syndrome whist working in a Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Mexico. Conclusion: Therefore, the remaining 90 % have a high probability of to suffer from burnout syndrome. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Conclusión Por ende, un 10 % de la población tienen resiliencia ante el síndrome laboral de agotamiento si se encuentran en un Hospital Veterinario de Enseñanza en México.
