| Abstract (English): |
Status epilepticus is a critical medical emergency that can occur in previously healthy patients as well as those with epilepsy. It is vital to stop the seizure quickly to prevent permanent neuronal damage or death. Initial treatment usually includes benzodiazepines or second-line drugs. Identifying the underlying cause and providing respiratory support are fundamental priorities in both prehospital and hospital management. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
